Beau Wins the Airmail Tournament!
We had 20 players enter the double elimination airmail tournament last night. In the end Beau Horky went undefeated to win it over Brett Lyons. Matt Strzala who put on a show early ended up in third place.
January Singles Results
We had a season high 39 players come out for our January Singles League night on Friday. In the end, Gary Lewis won his third consecutive Division I Championship with Stacia Pugh coming in 2nd. In Division II we had two new players in the Finals with Jeff Ledel winning over Dave Miller. So far in Division II we’ve had 6 different players in our 3 Championship matches.
Cleveland Cornhole Partners With ACO Cleveland
Cleveland Cornhole and Ken Allen will now be partnering up to run ACO Regional events in Northeast Ohio. The ACO is still working on final details/rules for 2013, so once we have them we will past them on to the players. For now, we have already scheduled the first ACO Regional event to be March 23rd at the American Legion Hall in Fairview Park.
Football Squares
Cleveland Cornhole will be selling football squares for the Super Bowl starting next week.
Squares will be $3/each or two squares for $5.
You get DIFFERENT numbers for each quarter and the payouts will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters $30 each, final score $60.
100% of the proceeds will go towards buying trophies for the Winter league.
Winter League is Set!
Please, if you know of a Monday you will need off between now and the end of March, please let me know sooner than later! If you let me know last second, there is a chance that you may have to forfeit.

Just wanted to thank the nearly 500 players that participated in a Cleveland Cornhole or Ohio Cornhole Tour event in 2012! It was our first year and definitely exceeded my expectations. With 40-42 teams signed-up for our doubles league starting in a week it sure looks like 2013 will be a good one too! Thanks to each and every player for the support, looking forward to 2013!
Of course every year is different, I wanted to thank Michelle and Jim Cahill again for all of their years of dedication to running the league/events as NEOCornhole. I also wanted to remember Bob Dalton who we lost this year and John Sr (former player). It’s the players that make this game great and we lost a couple great one’s this year.
Singles Championship Results
We had 41 players come out for the first ever “Cleveland Cornhole Singles Championships”. 21 players competed in Division I and 20 players in Division II. In the end it was Gary Lewis defeating Jeff Reynolds in Division I and Christine Papcke defeating Sean Roth in Division II. Thanks to everyone who came out and battled the weather!

December Singles Results
Thanks to everyone for battling the weather to come out for the 2nd singles night. All in all we had 36 players (18 in each division) and played 124 games with everyone playing at least 5 games and a maximum of 10. Click on the links above for the standings. Remember there are 6 singles nights and you get to drop your lowest score (taking your 5 highest scores).

“Ryder Cup” Team Night Results
Captain Stacia Pugh and “Team Party Bus” won the Dec ’12 Ryder Cup Team Night last night. The Party Bus team started out slow by going just 2-4 in the “Quads” portion of the event, but turned it around quickly by going 9-3 in doubles and 18-6 in singles to take home the title.

Blind Draw Results
We had an amazing 54 players enter our $5 tiered blind draw on Monday night! In the end the team of Tim Haywood and Rob Szczech held on to win the tournament. Aaron Kleinpeter and Justin Salcedo finished 2nd and made a great run by winning 8 games in a row to force the “IF” game of the Championship. Thanks to everyone who came out.
