ACO Cleveland Major Results – 3.21.2014
Thanks to everyone who came to the Cleveland Major! This was by far the most talented field of players ever to gather in the Cleveland area. 144 players from 9 states competed in singles and doubles! Although it was a long two days, it was awesome to see everyone and see some of the great games that took place. It was also awesome to see all those Cleveland Cornhole jersey’s and shirts out there, we were well represented.
Below are the top 64 in singles and top 32 in doubles (thanks to Stacia for summarizing the results). Lots of pictures below too.

3.17.2014 Blind Draw Results
Amazingly we had 38 players came out Monday night (St. Patrick’s Day) to pitch some bags. Each player played 5 games with 5 random partners against 5 random opponents. The top 16 players then advanced to a cash bracket. In the end everyone who went 5-0 or 4-1 advanced straight to the quarterfinals, players that went 3-2 had a throw off where 6 out of 9 advanced. Unfortunately the 3 players that went 3-2 in the games, but did not survive the throw-off were Ed Opett, Bill Kozak and Paul Novak, but congrats on doing well in the 5 game play.
Final Results:
1st – Jeff Reynolds / Mike Pfaff
2nd – Stacia Pugh / Brandon Corwin
t-3rd – Wayne Colonna / Beau Horky
t-3rd – Mike Burdette / Christine Papcke
t-5th – Jeff O’Heron / Dave Miller
t-5th – Collin Miller / Chuck Keller
t-5th – Matt Strzala / Rob Szczech
t-5th – Jim Cahill / Ron Weiss

2014 Monday Night League Survey
Please take 2-3 minutes to answer this brief 10 question survey. Please only take the survey once and only if you currently play in the Monday Night cornhole league. Thanks!
West Side League Players
West Side league players, the current doubles session is scheduled to end on 3/10. Since 3/17 is St.Patrick’s day I will not schedule anything that week (unless players want to just throw something together), so the next league session would begin on 3/24. The Spring session is shorter (9 weeks) and I like to change it up a little for Spring, so there a couple of options.
1 – we run a 9 week singles league (no partners) with multiple divisions
2 – we run a blind draw league like we did last Spring. Each night you play probably 5 games and get a random partner and random opponent for each game (we would again have 2 divisions). Records would be kept individually and there would be a nightly champion just like last year and an overall champion at the end of the 9 weeks.
Please vote below as to what you prefer:

Note that doubles will return for the Summer league that is scheduled to start on 6/2.
