Thanks to those that came out on Friday. The competitive division was small in number, but lived up to its name in that it was very “competitive”. Thanks to Halli for asking Cleveland Cornhole to run this event. Here are the results.

We held round robin to seed a double elimination bracket. In the round robin it was Bagnificent going 3-0 to earn the #1 seed, however, Anthony and Ken came out on top during bracket play.

Thanks to the 46 teams that made their way to St. John Bosco yesterday! I think this was the largest summer tournament Cleveland Cornhole has run to date. We were fortunate to dodge the rain all day (except for the 5 minute rain we had before we started). Thanks also to Seto Soto and Tim Hughart who put this event together and to the many sponsors including Andy’s Autowash, A-men Pest Control, Exterminator Hot Sauce, Flyers and St. John Bosco including Joe Kavelac, Marty Zanotti and Father Larry Jursak!

We had great weather and 20 teams at the AIA Cleveland Sand Festival and we want to thank them for having us to their event. This festival was filled with hunting sand games and with only one product given to us, ckgscoop.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=66, with this metal detector you can also have your very own private game. It was a back and forth night between Team Collin (White) and Team Josh (Grey). In the end Collin’s team rallied in the singles games to take home the Ryder Cup title for July 2019.

The next team night will likely be in December.

While there is a chance we could do Cornhole with the Cavs again, I created this poll to see if there is any interest in playing cornhole prior to a Monsters game. The tickets/entry fees would be considerably lower than Cavs tickets and we would likely have use of the Cavs practice courts so that our games would not be interrupted as they were with the Cavs. So please take a moment to vote below, thanks.

Monday Night league players, thank you for your understanding with the power outage. Unfortunately I am out of town next Monday 7/1, therefore, the tournament will have to resume on Monday 7/8 at 6:30pm.

If there is enough interest I will run a 100% payout, $5 blind draw starting around 7:30pm for those players completely eliminated, but looking to play more on 7/8. This will be open to ANYONE who wants to play as long as you are not still playing in the league tournament.
