I’m still trying to recover from the weekend, but I hope everyone who made the trip had fun. I am always looking for ways to make events better, so if you have suggestions on how to make these ACL National events better, please let me know.

There were over 600 players at the event and over $56,000 paid out!

Anyway, the ACL will be posting full results at some point, but just wanted to highlight some of our top performers (sorry, not trying to leave anyone out, this article just shows anyone who finished in the money in their event). I also don’t have pictures because, well, I was busy, lol.

Women’s Doubles (29 teams)
1st – Christine Papcke and Stacia Pugh took 1st place! Their championship match was also shown on ESPN2 last night.

I mean I don’t really know what to say. Prior to this regional our most unique players was 92. This January 2019 regional had 126 players! Thank you to everyone who came out. We had several players from New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan make the trip as well as Southern Ohio! I hope you all had a safe trip back.

So I always wondered what my breaking point might be, this was it, lol. 126 players with no pre-registration or warning that it would be this big was overwhelming. I am sorry if I wasn’t able to chat with most of you, it was very difficult to keep up. Also sorry if you had long waits between games as with 13 boards and 126 players (although not all at once) that’s bound to happen.

With that look for some minor changes to the February regional schedule, may make a slight time change for one or two events. I am also considering adding a fourth division, but we will see.
