Summer Team Night Results!

This team night was by far the most competitive we’ve ever had.  Team Mike and Team Mikey ended up tied with the most points and team Tyler finished just ONE point behind!  It came all the way down to the last game of the night to see if we would have a three way tie, but Team Tyler came up just short.

We then had the players from Mike and Mikey’s teams vote on if they wanted to split the money or have Mike play Mikey one game to determine a winner.  Even that vote was split, so we played the game and that game didn’t disappoint either!  Mike ended up winning the game 21-19 in a game that could have gone either way for sure.  Congrats to both teams on their performance last night.

Introducing the $1,000 ACO Cleveland Championships!

The ACO (American Cornhole Organization) has some new things planned for this year including new divisions for Seniors (55 and older) and Women’s.  ACO Cleveland is also adding a “Competitive” division for those that might be interested.  For both singles and doubles ACO regional events this year we will offer two divisions, “World” and “Competitive”.  This is meant to give players that don’t want to play against the “Pros” a place to compete.

Along with that we are offering a new event at the end of the ACO season (June 2015).  We are guaranteeing $1,000 in prize money for that event to anyone who plays in 6 ACO Cleveland Regionals or more throughout the year.  Each month for the next 9 months Cleveland Cornhole will host one ACO Regional (typically on Saturdays).  Players who enter 6 or more of these will be eligible for the $1,000 ACO Cleveland Championships.  If we have good participation in ACO events we may even add more $ or prizes to the pot.

Full details about our first regional of the year can be found HERE
